I am trying to build a Windows 7 64bit VM using an ISO that just seems to blue screen the VM. I load the same ISO into a VMware application and it runs without any issues. Does Parallels require some kind of special drivers in order to create the VM?
Hello Jerry5, please share us the screenshot of the error message and we will be happy to check and assist!
Hi Maria, Thank you for the article but this isn't a solution for my situation because the Bad Pool Error message occurs during the OS installation so there is no way for me to load the OS to even get into the .DMP files. I suspect that this is related to what drivers parallels requires to install windows 7. I am the Mac administrator for my company and we have previously instructed all of our Mac users to use Parallels but if we cannot get this resolved I will probably have to instruct them to go with VMWare because there are no issues when loading our ISO into their product. I would like to avoid that because i'd hate to tell a few hundred users have to purchase VMWare in order to get a working VM up and running for their Macs. Please help!
