I'm running Parallels 4.0 build 3810 with Windows XP SP3. Anytime Windows Media Player starts, CPU usage increases for prl_vm_app to and prl_client_app to around 90% and OS-X hangs on pinwheel. In addition, prl_client_app becomes "not responding". Windows Media Player in Windows becomes frozen (hour glass) and the video displayed is broken up. Once the Windows Media file stops playing, the processe's CPU usage returns to normal. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Mark

    Hello,

Please try to raise the amount of video memory in Configure -> Video.

    Thanks

Bump the video memory up to 256K and it works great - thanks for the help.
