    I am running Parallels V4.

The disks in my Windows virtual machine are named "/private/tmp/NNN/D" where "NNN" is a number and "D" is the drive letter. The number seems to change each time I bring up the VM. Maybe it's a PID or something.

Is there a way that I can assign a static name to the mapping so it doesn't change every time?

I use a program (Canon Camera Window) which downloads pics from my camera and I want to save them in to the windows directory (I use Photoshop/Bridge in the Windows VM). It saves the last path I used but since it changes every time, I need to always navigate to the windows directory to save into. It's a pain.

I don't think there's any way to fix the mount points. What you can do is enable file sharing in your Windows VM, setup sharing for the folder, then mount the share in Mac OS X using Connect to Server and using a url that looks like this:
    smb://10.211.55.15
