Hi there, My PC has died with motherboard issues and instead of buying a new PC i would like to use parallels to replicate the PC i had. The yard drive is ok and all the data on it is intact is there any way of using the HDD to create an image that can be used in parallels? thanks, Aaron
Hey AaronB2, The hard disk alone cannot be used to create a Parallels Virtual Machine. However, a Virtual Machine can be installed directly on the Mac using the activation key and an installation media(DVD/USB/ISO). The other method of installations would be migrating a PC or using a boot camp as a Virtual Machine.
