We have an Okidata ES1220N color laser printer running on our Mac network as a shared printer. The Okidata has an extra tray feeder for alternate types of paper. Prints just fine from Macs over the network. We have the correct HP Laserjet driver called for by Parallels installed in Windows XP home. Printing works fine except that the printer will only grab paper from tray 1 and not the extra tray. We've tried the autoselect option, and designating a tray-- nothing works. It always wants to print from the top tray only. Also, will not print from the hand feed tray. This is not a problem unique to the Parallels environment-- we have two PC's on our network, both running XP Pro, and neither will print from the extra tray or the hand feed option. Okidata tech has been no help. Just wanted to see if any multi-OS persons out there might have a solution.
