Parallels with Windows 10 and my Mac were working perfectly, until sometime in the past couple days. I've restarted Windows and my Mac multiple times but here's what it looks like:

What is that menu and gray box upper left? That's new. So is that icon next to the Cortana circle thing. My Windows workspace (not sure what you call it, but I mean the large yellow boxes taking up most of the screen, with a few program icons) is active, but never goes away, even after I start a program. I can't get to the program controls, or even if Windows puts up an alert, I can't get there either. Here I've selected Empty Trash (or whatever it's called in Windows) from the Windows 10 File menu, just to see if the menu commands work. They do, but you can see the "are you sure?" alert appears behind my Adobe shortcuts, and is inaccessible.

I'm running El Capitan (10.11), and recently updated Parallels to 11.2.1 on August 1. I'm guessing that it's the Parallels upgrade that did this, but I didn't test it immediately after the upgrade.

How do I troubleshoot, if not fix? I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any help.

    Hi AnneC,
It seems Windows 10 Tablet view is enabled. Try disabling Tablet mode. Please refer to this article for assistance.

Hi Ajith, I think that fixed it. Scary. Why would it switch to tablet mode when this computer doesn't support tablets?

    Hi AnneC,
Glad to hear that you have got the issue fixed. Windows 10 comes with Tablet mode by default for all devices which supports Windows 10.
