just as the title says. Never seen Windows Server 2003 blow up every hour and freeze like it does with 1966. This is probably the most stable Microsoft OS there is so I don't think its Server 2003 in this case.

Complete lock ups (freeze), sometimes total crash/blue screen of death with an IRQ issue or kernal exception. Note: I'm not a casual user, i'm on this virtual machine 8-10 hours a day so I probably am running this more than most people.

Standard windows installation, office, visual studio.

Rock solid before RC1, slightly better with 1966, but not good enough for release, imho.:(

On reboot after last crash I got this after submit to MS:

    Problem with Hard Drive Detected.

on with the saga...i let it load and load and load, longest boot up ever. its like its running at half speed. it did boot finally after the longest boot in the history of mankind. Still very slow in responses.

running parallels compressor to see if it will help, in the middle of the slowest defrag in history.
