    Loaded Parallels on my MB-Pro.

Then loaded Windows XP Pro. Everything was running great for a month or so. Then one day Windows just would not start.

What happens is this: I start Parallels, then start the VM with Windows on it. I get the Windows XP splash screen, then nothing and back to theParallels screen.

Any Help? I wrote Parallels support, but no one seems to be home.

    Thanks,

I had same problem today - before upgrading from 1920 to 1940 build. The only thing I have done prior to this Repair Permissions on my Mac disk utility, and it may have completely freaked out windows. I got wIndoes to safe mode boot for a it and it had 11,753 orphaned files and was trying to correct the problem and it just blue screened neveer to come back. I gave up and just reinstalled after reformating the windows VM during the install. Everything is fine now.

    Big Pain in the A....

    Thanks for reply zig.zag.

I did the same, sort of... deleted the VM and reinstalled WinXP and the apps. Yes, a real pain.

Don't know wha went wrong, but I hope it doesn't happen again.
