I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. Everything works fine except for a Windows Store app called iBird Pro. When I first booted into Windows, the shortcut to the app was removed from my Applications (Parallels) folder. I copied it back to the folder from a backup and dragged the shortcut to my Mac's Dock. The app runs fine in Full Screen or Modality, but it won't launch from the Dock icon when Windows is in Coherence mode. When I restart Windows, the shortcut is once again removed from the Applications (Parallels) folder and the Dock icon displays as a Question Mark. The app worked fine in Coherence mode on Windows 8.1.
Hello KevinW2, Reinstall Parallels tools manually by referring http://kb.parallels.com/4841 it might help you in resolving the issue.
I tried reinstalling Parallels tools, but that didn't help. I worked with it some more and found that whenever Windows 10 is restarted, the app displays as a Question Mark in the Dock. If I run the app at least once in Modality Mode, then I can drag it back to the Dock and from then on it will work in Coherence Mode. So, on every restart, I have to repeat these steps.
Hi KevinW2, This issue might be due to wrong Home folder permissions in the Mac, please refer http://kb.parallels.com/118744 to reset the permissions.
