I have been running Windows 8 using Parallels Desktop for some time. I just moved countries and now Windows 8 is completely unresponsive. I can boot it up but none of the application icons on the desktop do anything when I double-click on them. When I go to the Finder on my Mac and double click on a Windows application, it fires up Parallels and Windows but the application doesn't actually open. I tried updating Parallel Tools but again, clicking on the update option doesn't result in any action. I am not a technical person so if someone replies to this, pretend you're talking to a five year old
