Windows Update error 8024402C

    I've just purchased and installed Parallels 5 and installed Windows 7. Everything seems to be working as expected except Windows returns and error 8024402C when I run Windows update. I can access shares on my network and the internet through Explorer so it's not a connectivity issue. Any ideas what it might be?

    Wow, almost 5 years later and no one has responded to this issue. I have the same problem, have for some time. I also have a slow NIC under parallels and nothing they seem to suggest helps at all. Think its time to dump parallels...
