I am running Windows 7 through Parallels 5.0 for Mac using a Boot Camp partition. When using Windows Update, to make sure that both the installation on the partition and the VM are up to date, can I just run Windows Update in one or the other, or do I need to run it in both? I've also heard of some people having authorization with Windows when using a Boot Camp partition as the basis for a Parallels VM -- assuming my Mac has 4GB of physical RAM and the VM has been assigned 2GB, does this seem likely to cause an issue?
