Hello all, I'm new to Macs and I bought a copy of Parallels 4.0 and full version of Windows Vista Home Basic SP 1 before carefully reviewing the Parallels website. I have a new Macbook Pro with Leopard (2.4 ghz processor + 2 Gig ram). I would like to be able to run Vista via Parallels to support basic programs.

I conducted a search on this forum, and can't seem to find out current information to see if you can install Windows Vista Home Basic through virtualization. I know this was an issue in the past but a string of articles indicates it is no longer an issue (EULA problems resolved with Microsoft). However, the Parallels website does not identify Basic as a supported product. Is this still the case? I hope I didn't just wast a couple hundred bucks based on what was on the Parallels box.

Alternatively, I understand I can install via Boot Camp and I understand run Parallels that way.

    Thanks

Microsoft allowed it since January 2008
