    Hello,

I have installed Microsoft Windows Vista as a virtual machine in Parallels Dekstop 4.0 on my MacBook Pro 17 ''.
The problem i am having is that even in full screen mode, everything on the Vista screen is terribly small (fonts, menus etc) and I need to stick my face really close to the monitor to be able to read the names of files and folders and the like.
I have been trying to change some screen resolution settings, without success.
Anyone has any idea how to work around the problem ?

Also, I am not using the internet at all when working in Windows, so even though Parallels comes with a whole suite of anti-spyware, anti-spam etc, would it be possible to block the virtual machine to access the web (via wi-fi especially) ?

    Thanks for your help !

    Hi,

Please install Parallels tools if you haven't installed it yet

Also, make sure that you are using Shared Networking (it is a property of Network Adapter in VM configuration)

That is effectively what I have done, but the issue still remains. Everything is still as small as before, and I can't seem to manage to make fonts bigger.
