    Hi everybody,
not being pleased with the results of the "SmartGuard" option I opted to NOT to back up the VMs with Time Machine at all. Instead I keep all my documents outside the VMs and zip the entire .PVM-folders from time to time.
That has worked fine, until today. Today the backup has taken a very long time and the size suggested that all my 3 VMs have been included today. I have checked the settings of Parallels, the check marks to NOT back up the VMs in Time Machine are still there. Then I have checked the content of Time Machine and indeed Time Machine has backed up the VMs today, for the very first time.
    WTH is going on here?
    Best regards
    Rainer
