Having searched the forum for a similar problem to mine, unfortunately the the closest I could find had turned offensive with no resolution, so I've decided to start a new thread.

I have used transporter to move my old toshiba laptop to my new MacBook 4.1.
    Mac OS X version 10.5.2, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM

The transporting seemed to work without a hitch.

When I start the parallels desktop, I see the few lines of (I think?) memory check flash up, followed by the windows start screen, which then just becomes a blank screen.

The parallels tools on the sidebar (stop, pause, play, full screen etc) all work as I would expect them to.

Under Applications, Start Menu is available (but does nothing visible) and Show Windows Taskbar, Show Windows Desktop, & Empty Windows Recycle Bin are all greyed out.

Everything else in the Mac menu's seems to be normal, but I'm new to Mac's so I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for...

I'm not sure if windows is hanging, or if I'm just missing something major. I have original disks, windows licenses, parallels license, but I can't see that any of them are what's missing...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
