Windows XP on Mac 10.7 - Proxy issue

hi.
my mac is registered with the university IT services and uses a proxy to connect to the internet. when i try to go online inside the parallels installed windows xp, i can only reach the university web pages, but nothing outside the university domain.

that is because the university is matching only my mac's MAC address -- and not a separate one from the Windows virtual machine.

is there a way to set up Parallels to be connecting to the outside world using the Mac's ethernet address?

i'd appreciate any tips.
