WinXpSP3 DeskTop Reflected on OSX10.10.2 Desktop

Annual user of Parallels.
(once a year or so)

Just updated to Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
I've never had my super old vb6 apps running and looking so well as on Yosemite using the Coherence mode.

I had tried to copy my super old LapTop XP system into a new Parallels Guest.
I'm pretty sure thats where my problems began.

Some where along the way I've lost my iMac OS X 10.10.2 desktop icons.
They are in time machine from yesterday so ho worry there.

Now each time I update the XP guest desktop it is reflected on the mac desktop.
And each time I update the new mac desktop it is reflected on the XP guest desktop.

Anyone else getting this?
Is it something new with Coherence mode?
Any constructive help would be appreciated.

I've since installed a guest Windows XP Sp3 system from scratch and all is well with Xp and vb6 apps on Yosemite.

But the desktop connection prevails.

 

Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.
Should I ring Apple support?
