If you what's Disc Stakka, you will know what I'm talking about. Disc Stakka's OpdiTracker database software for Mac is horrible! Many times, I wanna switch to the Windows version of OpdiTracker but the database file is bot interchangeable between Mac and Windows. Anyhow, I'm considering redoing my database in Windows. When in Boot Camp, the OpdiTracker software detects and operates the Disc Stakka units well. But when under visualization (Parallels Desktop for Mac), OpdiTracker software can't see the Disc Stakka units through USB connection. Maybe Parallels might wanna take a look and make it work.
