I have a Macbook, OS 10.6.7, running Windows XP professional through my Parallels desktop 6 . *It works fine with the newer PC programs I need. *I wanted to use an old program to transfer files between my computer and my music keyboard that only has a serial output. *The cable was a special serial cable using a serial: USB converter. *The Mac version worked fine with my old Mac with OS 9, but not now, using the PC version with my macbook in PC mode. It can’t locate a needed Com port (1-4) to recognize my keyboard. The program, Ketron FT 1.0 is an old, small (3.4MB) transfer program that came with my SD1 Arranger keyboard. I even ordered Driver Robot and downloaded 54 updated drivers, as instructed. *It still didn’t see any com port (1-4), and after contacting them with the problem, they didn’t answer & just refunded my purchase price. Any suggestions? Thanks, Don Kane don1324@mac.com
