wont resize help new to the forums

After choosing winxp.wvm and clicking continue i get this message ...

image tool is unable to process the file .the specified hard disk image file is ither a read only or is in use by another application...make sure you have the permission to write in this file ...

Did you mean winxp.pvm?

Where did you choose winxp.wvm? What version of Parallels do you use?

Please try to send a problem report (in Parallels Desktop choose Help->Report a problem).

 

try downloading the software again as it is showing such errors.

 

Please provide the following information :

1) Version of Parallels Desktop you are using.
2) The size of the windows.pvm file
