Hello, I have been using Kubuntu 12.04 without any glitch on parallels 7 for a few months. However, following the last update to version 7.0.15107, I also had to update the parallels tools. Since I have done that, I cannot login anymore into the graphic interface. What happens is: -Kubuntu boots OK, X server starts, and I see the login prompt -After entering my user/password, the login box disappears, and I see for a short while the desktop's background, as it everything was going fine -but after about 0.5 seconds, the display turns to black with some text but this lasts only a fraction of as second so I cannot read -I am prompted again with the login box It seems that the X server is restarting right after I successfully login. When the login box is displayed, I have the possibility to do a console login, and this works fine. I have even re-installed the parallels tool from the console, but it didn't help. I have noticed that there is a post from a Ubuntu 12.04 user who also seems to have issues after login in. Although the symptoms are not identical, maybe it is caused by the same modification to parallels tools. Is it possible to identify what is causing the problem or to downgrade parallels 7 to a previous version, as this was working perfectly? Thanks for your help
