I have read some stuff on the web that suggests it may be possible to run x86_64 versions of macOS in a Parallels guest on Apple silicon (e.g. M4). Is that doable? If so how - do I just DL the ipsw file and let rip or is there (much) more to it than that? Thanks D.
Currently you can run x86_64 Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022, and some Linux distributives with UEFI BIOS via Parallels Emulator. x86 macOS is not officially supported. https://www.parallels.com/blogs/parallels-desktop-20-2-0/ https://kb.parallels.com/130217
