Since update to parallels build 5594 and installing Parallels Tools again, the Windows XP-profiles for booting have additional "parallels boot profile"-entrys. I want to edit them like in normal Windows with Start-System preferences ->system->hardware->profiles, but these entrys are not vissible in both bootmodes, under parallels and nativly XP. What to do, to reach the profiles of parallels internal Bootcamp-configuration??? A.
after a longn search, this seems to be the solution: 1) MacOS: erasing Parallels Windows Bootcamp Configuration - REBOOT! 2) WinXP: deleting the "parallels OS-entry" from boot.ini as descriped here: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;289022&x=15&y=18 with "bootcfg /delete /IP #number of parallels entry# abd REBOOT! 3) MacOS: reinstall Parallels Bootcamp Configuration
