We have Parallels 4.0 on a Macbook Pro. We have been using Windows XP Home for a while. All of a sudden when we click on the virtual machine it gave us an error that some file was corrupt. I re-installed Windows and now it boots up and all we get is a blue screen (Not the blue screen of death). It looks like the desktop without any taskbar, start button or desktop icons. Any idea how to fix this and access all programs and files that were there before. I'm not Parallels savvy so I may have the vernacular incorrect.

Where do I go to disable shared profile?

Also, it is now indicating that it cannot find winxp.hdd.

Backup Virtual machine first, and perform Disk verify from Disk Utilities, such cituation is usually caused after hard Mac reset, due to file system corruption
