Hi For some strange reason my XP VM will no longer restart. WHen I tell it to restart or shutdown it gets most of the way then stops and just sits there, the screen is blue but it is a Desktop blue not a blue screen of death, just a desktop blue but with no icons or anything on it. Any ideas out there what the problem might be? Cheers. Robin
Sounds like your Windows install is broken. Many things that are not related to Parallels can cause this. A VM can die and BSOD just the same way that a real one can. Perhaps you could post some log files, or a discription of what may be causing the problem? Do you have a backup of the .hdd file?
I have a number of backups (just me being cautious) but I would prefer to fix as I am not sure how much has changed sine the last backup a week or so ago. What log files are you refering too? Robin
