 I tried to install XP as the guest today on my MacBook Pro. Just as the CD-rom started to install it stopped. The mesage listed that INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 512.
What does this mean? Do I have a bad windows install disk and I need to contact Microsoft or did a Parallels file get corrupted when I upgraded to the latest build. Or is it something else. I could use some help.

    thanks

The message implies that you have a bad XP install CD. You can try making an ISO image of the CD using Parallels Image Tool. If that works, you could try booting from the image. If it can't make an ISO image of the CD, the CD is bad.
