I am trying to install Windows XP on my virtual machine.
Everything works fine until I get to the "Windows XP Licensing Agreement" window.
I am directed to enter F8 if I agree, however hitting the F8 key gets no response.
    What do I do?

I seem to remember I had to press fn+F8 on my wireless keyboard. I think the laptop keyboard is the same (but I've been wrong before!).

seems in your case it's necessary to grab input into VM window at first - just click with mouse into VM window and then press F8. Also you can try our unattended (Express) installation - it's not require any actions from you during OS install - just perform and make your job until installation will be completed.

It seems that on my Macbook I need to hold the "Fn" key while hitting a function key in order for them to operate correctly.
