I've been a Apple Magic Mouse user for a long time but when running Windows, the Magic Mouse can be very unpredictable. I have a program I use frequently that right/left scrolls with almost no movement on the mouse touch surface. I'm thinking maybe it's time to switch to a different mouse that works better for both environments. I do like my Magic Mouse so it will be a bit of a bummer switching but I think it would make my life a little better in the long run. Anyone have any standout recommendations?
I have been using Logitech mx Anywhere 2s with Windows for a couple of years, highly configurable and I cannot do without the left/right tilt of the centre wheel to switch virtual desktops. I actually 'upgraded' to the 3 model, but sent it straight back - they got rid of the tilt! Anyhoo, got a MacBook from work 2 weeks ago and it came with the magic mouse...try as I might I just couldn't get the 2 finger swipe to work consistently - arghhh! Went back to the 2S and all was right in the world again.
