I use proprietary software on the that is available on the Windows platform only (ECO3 Apogee) and I have always been able to open pdfs to my Mac side of things and edit, resave and continue. After Version 20 upgrade of Parallels, I can no longer open pdfs to the Mac side for editing. Anyone else seeing issues like this?
Yes I started a thread on this a day or to before. https://forum.parallels.com/threads...-pdfs-with-acrobat-in-office-products.365366/ I have found the only workaround is you have to a snapshot from before you upgraded to V20. Just taking your current VM and re-installing V19 wont fox the problem. And the issue I am having is launching it from within Office apps (like outlook and OneNote.) I CAN successfully open pdfs through windows explorer.
Hello! First of all, please accept our apologies for the issue! We've fixed it in Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 build released a few minutes ago. Update Parallels Desktop to version 20.1.0 to have the issue addressed: https://parallels.com/directdownload/pd/.
I have updated to 20.1.0 (55732) and still have the same issue. For years, this was not an issue until the 20.0 upgrade and the 19 downgrade did not fix the issue. Please help.
No, this is absolutely NOT fixed in 20.1. Somehow I managed to get it working in 20.0 and when I upgraded to 20.1 the PDF icons are all blank. Please fix or suggest a fix ASAP PLEASE!
Def NOT WORKING. moderator pls removed RESOLVED from the title. Just to confirm I'm not crazy, I created a fresh Win 11 VM, Fresh Office install in V19. Works great. Upgraded Mac to V20, ran Parallels Tools. Bam! Blank attachment icons.
NO. it is not fixed case #4959311 I tried it on another workstation and still the same. so Please remove "RESOLVED" as it is not and please get your so called software engineers to fully text the updates before they are released.
Same issue with Apogee 13.5.x. I spoke to Edwin at ECO3 support and he also told me that he's getting a lot of calls about this issue but ECO3 don't have a solution for it as it is Parallel's software.
