    I've had this same issue and am hoping that you, or someone else, has found a way around this block. Any luck, anyone?

    To summarize major questions I've met in this thread:

    - If Parallels Desktop download doesn't start - just copy/paste the full link you got in your email to your internet browser window and hit Enter. The download should start;

    - In some cases you will need to re-enter your license codes - your license keys are still valid for this new build;

    - The update is free of charge;

    - If you use Parallels Updater to get this new build, in some cases you will need to launch it manually from your Desktop;

    - If you get "conflicting virtual machines" message, refer to http://kb.parallels.com/en/6659

    Also feel free to create new support requests at http://www.parallels.com/support/

    I'm having a similar problem. Click update in the program; installer asks for my password; installer tells me that it's running a program that's checking for compatibility and then nothing happens. Tried restarting and same result.

    Please help

    Hello,

    It seems to be that the cause of teh issue is incorrect layout (the windows which require username and password to install application is not displayed).

    Please change Mac keyboard layout (more information please check here http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10092104)
    Let us know if the issue persists.

    I finally got it to work, but in order to do so I had to open the .dmg file in the dowloads folder. That processed the update fine. I didn't follow your advice on the keyboard layout change, so don't know if that would have worked or not.

    Don't just click on the highlighted link. Move cursor to highlight starting after the "<" and select all three lines.
    There is no ">" to indicate the end of the link.
    No page opens but download starts

    I believe this is the only question I can answer.

    I am using both Cisco Windows and Mac OS VPN clients, as well as Mac OS X VPN Tracker (not at the same time as Cisco OS X client) without problems. The Cisco clients are NOT the new SSL ones.
