Lion installation does't start

When i try to install Lion from the recovery partition i get a validation error.
"Could not find installation information for this machine."

 

I have the same problem - any ideas?

 

If you have the InstallESD.dmg file available, it easy to create a VM with Lion as the guest OS

Same here, it does not install.

Also tried with the original dmg file I downloaded from apple.

Does not work.

Any suggestions?

 

Echoing this issue, I can't install any version of OS X. Lion, Snow Leopard, Leopard, nothing.

I attach the image to the CD drive and it doesn't start setup, it just shuts off.
