on my macbook pro 2012 model, 13 inch, and running 10.8.5. I have noticed i was having memory issues with lots of paging and a 4g page file on a pc with 8g of ram. My pc would get slow with long wait. times to pen a menu I have narrowed it down to the application Parallels. I resume and suspend a windows 8 vm with 2g of ram to use my dreamwever tools. The purge command is a temporary fix for this very annoying issue. any one else suffering from this issue?
Which version of Parallels are you running? And did you only get this problem since updating to 10.8.5?
