Hi,
I've been butting up against the following issue installing parallels tools.
I ran into a number of issues with running parallels in full screen (missing icons in the dock, Cmd+Tab no longer changing to programs in the VM, inability to access the menubar from the fullscreen mode, networking intermittently failing, etc.). I figured that uninstalling and reinstalling the tools might help.
The uninstall failed with an error message (which I unfortunately did not catch), but seemed to succeed according to the programs and features list.
Re-installing the tools now fails and provides a helpful message box pointing to troubleshooting page, which doesn't exist.
This looks like it's probably going to be stuff that is left around by the failed uninstall. Is there a way of fixing this manually?
Edit:
It seems the kb article was using en_AU in the URL, rather than en_US. Fixing this leads to the correct kb article!
