    Hello

I'm using Parallels 8.0.18608 on Macos 10.8.5 and have a problem with snapshot.

I booted Parallels and ask to start a VM and Parallels started by saying removing a snapshot (supposed it reached limit of 100 but doesn't seem so when checking Snapshots folder: only 3 dat files)
Since, it seems to stall, time counter increased up to 100 and since, not moving. It's been running for a day...

In terminal, it doesn't seem there is much activity
    $ ps axu | grep [p]rl
    USER 866 10.4 3.9 4570164 646712 ?? S Sun05PM 266:46.97 /Applications/Parallels Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_client_app -psn_0_237626

At this point, I think I should kill it and restart/checking snapshot manager

but any alternative? how to check there is work on snapshots?
After maybe doing some snapshot merging (http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...-delete-my-snapshots&highlight=snapshot+merge) or compactor

    Thanks

    from parallels.log
    really seems, nothing happening.
will go with killing parallels but after, how do I check disk and snapshots integrity? compact them?

    Thanks

force to quit, relaunch and immediately get "removing snapshots" ... that seems to be a dead-end loop :(

    nobody can help ?

Please, send a problem report (Help -> Report a problem) and post it's ID here.

    Thanks

After more than a day after relaunch, still in "removing snapshot" status (no counter this time). prl_client_app seems active all the time (from top), but nothing in parallels.log
I generate another report: ID 30233379

Next, I forced a full reboot of the system but lost all remote access :(

But would appreciate a hint of what to do to get out of "removing snapshot" status and manage to get back some data out of the VM.
