This appears to be similar to some other USB related threads but here is my situation: MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) Parallels Desktop Pro Version 11.1.1 (32312) Windows 10 Enterprise External USB Wireless Adapter Permanently Assigned to VM I am experiencing an issue with my VM losing connection to a wireless USB WiFi adapter when I suspend or reboot my MacBook. Wireless adapter attached to MacBook Reboot or wake MacBook OS X: Open System Information Listed under USB > USB 3.0 Bus 802.11 n WLAN Start or wake VM Parallels: Open Device > External Devices No wireless adapter listed. Windows No wireless adapter detected Refreshing devices in Device Manager does not detect adapter Unplug USB adapter from MacBook Wait 15-30 seconds Plug device back in DOS X: Open System Information Listed under USB > USB 3.0 Bus 802.11 n WLAN Parallels: Open Device > External Devices Wireless adapter listed Windows Detects wireless adapter and connect to network Any combination of suspending or shutting down the VM, suspending or shutting OS X produces the same results. I have tried removing the permanent assignment, updating the driver in Windows and adjusting the USB power settings in Windows. None have resolved the issue.
