As Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac support DirectX 11, this list is now about issues with performance, that can be improved.

Note that some applications only work on macOS Catalina where Apple implemented more functionality in Metal.
Also the best performance is available on macOS Catalina and ATI Radeon graphics cards.

    List of requested apps:
    • Autodesk Revit 2020 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Autodesk 3Ds Max 2020 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Autodesk hardware acceleration (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Lumion (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • ArcGIS Pro 2.3 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Master Series (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Lockheed Martin Prepar3D

    • FIFA 19 (works in Parallels Desktop 15, macOS Catalina is required)
    • The Turing Test (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Madden NFL 19 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Battlefield 1 (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, 4 (not tested yet)
    • Player's Unknown Battleground (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Divinity: Original Sin 2 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Star Ocean - The Last Hope (not tested yet)
    • Dark Souls 3 (not tested yet)
    • Quake Champions (not tested yet)
    • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (requires fixes)
    • Halo Wars Definitive Edition (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Golf Club 2019 (not tested yet)
    • Elite Dangerous (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Kurtpel (not tested yet)
    • Black Desert Online (not tested yet)
    • The Witcher 3 (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Rise of Nations: Extended Edition (not tested yet)
    • Far Cry 5 (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags and some texture issues)
    • Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Crysis 3 (works in Parallels Desktop 14)
    • Apex Legends (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Fallout 4 (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Elite Dangerous (works in Parallels Desktop 15, but there are lags)
    • Railway Empire (works in Parallels Desktop 15)
    • Anno 2205 (works in Parallels Desktop 15)

why don't you support DirectX 12? it's lighter and faster, and I need it for kinect v2

DX11 (DX12 if it's technically feasible) and OpenGL4 are simply required to call Parallels a "Professional" app.

I'm confused. DXDiag on my Windows 10 Creators Update VM shows version 12 of Direct X. Am I reading that right, as I also see a longer version type number below it starting with 10???

Autodesk 2018 (hardware accelleration doesn't work), SketchUp 2017 (doesn't run), Lumion (doesn't run). DirectX 12 would be better.

As previously mentioned all the newer games require DirectX11 or 12 or Vulkan support. But note that for those games, being able to use more than 2GB VRAM is also important. I'd like to see that increase to 4GB at minimum, but if the only limitation is my physical RAM, I don't see why there should be limits at all.

This feature should have been created already. The use of 3d graphics acceleration in Paralles on mac products.
Without this, the use of Autodesk products in Windows ran with the help of Paralles on mac is on a very pour quality. Doesn't matter if your mac is a rocket, without the 3d graphics acceleration from Paralles you can't work right with Autocad or Revit.
You guys should develop this very fast.

I can only assume that 3D Studio max is going to work the same as AutoCad and Revit in my case. That is on a decent level, but not great. You will have some lags and interuptions and it will depend on your mac and RAM memory.

The issue with graphics in parallels (and windows as the Guest OS) is that currently the feature set of direct x 11 and 12 is not implemented. This is due the fact that some key functions (to do with computing shaders etc) are not available on the macOS but are probably on your graphics card if you have a recent mac. With the addition of the Metal 2 API in "High Sierra" it should be possible to get the full DirectX 12 feature set. This will give the windows VMs a real boost in graphics compatibility and performance.
For now you could consider using your mac in boot camp with windows (where the full power of your graphics card should be available once you have the correct drivers installed)

You may also consider tweeking a few virtual machine settings:
On the CPU and memory section of the hardware tab make sure the following options are NOT checked
    Extended memory limit
    Adaptive Hypervisor
    Enable nested virtualization
    PMU virtualization

    On the Graphics tab:
Set memory as high as you can
set 3d acceleration to DirectX 10 (for now)

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, uses WARP and DirectDraw which are included in DirectX 11 as far as my research has suggested.
