We have an unusual setup with servers and clients inside and outside a hospital firewall that allows no inbound exceptions. We successfully run our SCCM server outside the firewall with Windows clients inside the firewall. The clients have no issues communicating with the server, the server cannot initiate communication with the clients - this seems to cause no issues with Windows SCCM clients. The port 8000 requirement from server to client in Parallels Mac Management causes the clients to not be able to successfully communicate with the server.

Is it possible to make the server initiated communication optional like SCCM and many other products that do similar things?

    Thanks for your consideration.

Hi, in the upcoming v7, we have eliminated calls from Parallels Proxy to Parallels Mac Client in all cases except when a right-click menu actions is executed in the ConfigMgr console.

Do you have any idea when v7 might be released?
