Did you try the "don't show it again" option?
Did you share your printer between Mac and Windows? Also did you try to connect your printer to VM directly?
Issue has been related to the Interner Explorer. Do you have the same behavior? Or may be you can provide us with other description.

Did you try to isolate your VM from Mac? Also you can change the "sharing option": VM configuration -> option -> sharing -> Share Folders-> none....
