Frankly, what did you expect? It's a beta, you nitwit*. Beta products are _unfinished_, _buggy_, and _transitory_. Parallels has let us know over and over again what to expect with the beta versions. So your stuff doesn't work, big deal, it's a beta. I see you complaining in later posts...

But it's important to note that even if Mac OS X would run in a Parallels VM, you'd need to hack it, which is against the EULA (again 2c). Other than that, I wholeheartedly agree with Dave's last post. Nonetheless, it'd be cool to do, especially as Leopard betas are seeded to us ADC members...

You should be able to fully configure at setup the VM in one account, ensure the winxp image file is somewhere accessible by all who need it. Then, log in as each user and setup the VM as before, but when it comes time, specify the previous created winxp image instead of creating a new one...

The VM environment grabs its own IP address on the LAN, so you can set up a Windows share on either/both OS X and/or Windows and share files that way.

My Parallels video experience isnt quite that fast. What hardware is your husband running this on? Is he using the Parallels video drivers?
