Vista RC1 and 1896.2 Install For Dummies

Installed VISTA RC1 I have managed to get VISTA RC1 installed and working on my macbook pro, using the instructions above. The only problem I had was trying to install off the CD, it would not boot and I got a black screen with a similar message as eatupmartha. I got around it by using the...

Virtue Desktop Spins When Launching 2nd VM

I have virtue desktop installed and am running a VM in full screen mode. I then "spin" the screen to an OSX desktop and attempt to launch a second VM. The screen then rotates back to the full screen VM already running, meaning I then have to rotate it back manually so that the parallels VM...

    Mac OS X interface

I'm assuming a parallels icon in the system preferences is the order of the day? This could be the place where you create the settings for all the VMS, ie. choose one from a list and view the settings. You would still launch the application from...er...applications and it picks up the...

    Plans for better graphics support?

I have noticed that some software (read games) will not install due to my graphics card (Parallels graphics driver) not being 8MB or better. There are two possible options: 1. Improve mouse support with native graphics drivers as this is the only reason that I can see for installing the...

Call top menu in full screen

System Tray, if it really should be allowed to be called that considering it crashes every now and again in Windows :-) Perhaps it could be built into the Parallels Tools center as that sits in the system tray.

Call top menu in full screen

Shortcut key to bring up Parallels menu? I have noticed that sometimes when you move from one desktop to another (using Virtue Desktops) the menu will appear - however it does not seem to be consistent. The addition of a shortcut key to bring up the menu would be extremely handy. :)
