NICE!!! Finally PTools work (for openSUSE at least, have to try Ubuntu...). I am just asking myself, why did it take so long? But then, let's hope Tools will be ready when the next round of Linux Distros comes out (which is very soon).

this is not true, VMW Fusion 2 beta *can* run Ubunty Hardy Heron 8.04 *with* VMWare Tools. I have it running here on my MacBook.

Ubuntu warns you about being in minimalistic graphics mode. This is because you have not installed Parallels Tools with its graphics drivers. The problem is, you cannot install it. See the other threads here dealing with Parallels Tools and Ubuntu. Looks like we have to wait for a PD update.

did you try to install the Parallels Tools? For me this solved some minor problems, including seemless mouse movement and screen resolution = full Mac screen size. (But I have a 13" MacBook, maybe this makes it a bit different.)
