    Vista Internet Connection?

    Mine "just worked" using host-only networking and internet connection sharing on the mac side, once I installed the parallels tools on vista. Do note that Vista requires you to configure your firewall and check for updates, etc. before it will allow you to connect to the internet at all.

    ctrl-alt-fn-delete is tricky. First hold down control and alt (option). Then press and hold fn. Then hit delete. Works great on my MacBook Pro.

    Is the FC5 torrent dead? BitTorrent just sits there with "0 seeds in 0 peers" forever. Though I don't use BT much, it is currently downloading the FC5 install CDs from the project's torrent at about 275 KiB/s so I'm sure it's working. Edit: Could you maybe post links to exactly what tuning...

    Hmm. Sounds like somethign might be keeping pcscd going, or trying to start it over and over. Is there anyting in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons, /System/Library/LaunchAgents, /Library/LaunchDaemons or /Library/LaunchAgents (or your Users/<yourname>/Library analogs) that contains "tokend"...

    Are you (or have you) tried to use the reader with any mac applications on the system? It sounds like a mac app may be trying to monopolize your reader. Make sure the mac app is not running. Also make sure that pcscd is not controlling the reader. Also, do you have the parallels tools...
