There is a UK-English version for 1970, just use the software-update feature inside the application to download it. But yes, it is annoying that the people from Parallels are so silent about this issue...

Luckily there is no Dutch translation, so I can use the UK-English version of Parallels that was in the box here, but even though there seems to be no difference with the 'normal' version, I cannot use the serial number I bought with the downloadable version either... So no testing with the beta...

Maybe creating a special limited user account especially for using this image, and limiting media insertion in this account so that they cannot copy the image to another form of media?

After the firmware update the first restart still yielded the VT-x error, shutting down and trying again prevented the error... Don't know if it is coincidence, but for now I am satisfied...

I am not saying that commenting out the line was the solution, just that after doing so my constant reproduceable freezes stopped. Can you open your Console and view the systemlog and see if you have any errors relating to the (not) loading of the Parallels kernel extensions/startup items...
