I've had zero problems with Parallels since the first release. With the latest one, when WinXP starts up it goes through the disc check (scandisc) utility, finishes, and then goes no further. In other words, it won't go to the desktop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This reply may not be particularly helpful. It's only to say that the principal reason I have had any interest in WinXP was to run Quicken since the Mac version is so unacceptable. Having said that, I did nothing special to install Quicken (2005, Premier) and have it connect to the Internet...
