Never mind. Found the answer in https://kb.parallels.com/128867, and in the article linked from that, https://kb.parallels.com/en/125561, which gives detailed Terminal instructions for creating a custom size. These worked perfectly, so I am back in business.

My macOS VM is 256GB in Configuration > Disk Capacity, but in the VM Macintosh HD is only 119GB and I am getting warnings about low space. How do I make the VM use all the 256GB ? Thanks

I have created a macOS12 VM and it is 68.75GB, without adding any data or apps. This is far larger than a bare bones install on a Mac is. There aren't any reclaim space or configuration options either. Am I missing something? Thanks

Are you sure you need to use UUUPDUMP? Since Parallels 17.1.1 was released in Nov 2021 it is possible and much easier to download the ISO from within Parallels. See https://forum.parallels.com/threads/how-to-install-windows-11-retail-version-read-post-48-first.355463/page-3#post-896937

You can install the release version Windows 11 ARM on M1 Mac VMs. You have to get it from uupdump.net

......Or maybe Parallels crashed due to the Windows crash....so will Parallels open your backup VM?

So a Parallels app crash not a Windows 11 crash? Perhaps uninstall and reinstall Parallels? Presume you have tried just rebooting Mac.
