audio control

It would be good to have a simple audio control for individual programs so that one can do things like. 1) Pan individual application audio from left to right. 2) Control the individual audio of apps. 3) Control the output for app audio - e.g. so to the speakers others to the headphones.

What would it take to add the feature that could quickly and simply tie audio in -> audio out on the Mac. As an example a Mic to a whole lot of AirPlay enabled Apple TV's across many classrooms (or a subset) with an easy "Go" "Stop/Mute" switch? When you leave the tool, all audio options are...
