windows 10 license

I had a virtual machine running Win 10. I had used a free license I got for having Win 8. I also have a vague memory of needing a special license for a VM? Anyway, the image became corrupt. I have upgraded to P15 and reinstalled Win10 in a new image. Now it is asking for an activation key...
