10.2.0-28956 won't install, just quits

I got the notification for 10.2.0-28956 a couple days ago. When I hit "Install Update" Parallels just quits and nothing happens. Upgrade message comes back next time I enter Parallels. My OS is 10.10.2

I like to read others' experiences with Parallels updates before I take the plunge. After reading this one, I continued searching, and found the following Parallels Knowledge Base article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122720

The interesting thing is, the article lists the version number as 28596. So which is it, 28956 or 28596?

I must say, this doesn't inspire confidence...
