10.4.11 and Parallels 5608 flickering problem

Hi I just did a fresh install parallels 5608 on a newly re-imaged MacBook Pro CD1 (10.4.11,2GB RAM, 1.83GHz) and I get the flickering problem as discussed here http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=18611.

At first I used a XP install CD that had SP3 slipstreamed on it then I tried an SP2 iso after a complete uninstall of Parallels.

Has 5608 been test with 10.4.11?

Will try 5584. and see if that works.
 
did not work

Since 5584 did not work I completely uninstalled parallels (plist and extensions per KB 4790.)
Ran the 10.4.11 intel combo updater.

Ran all the latest patches from Apple iTunes 8.01 security updates etc.

Installed 5608 from a fresh download along with a fresh download of XP iso from our company servers. Installed as a shared application from iso. Let parallels install the tools then shut down XP and quit parallels. Ran the 10.4.11 intel combo updater. Then installed the parallels tools again.

During the entire process the flickering was going on. This is in single window mode. I tested and it is happening in all window modes.

Suggestions anyone? Would there be any caches I should be deleting between installs?
 
I suppose it is in this case not related to Parallels Desktop, the most probably you need to reset PRAM,
I suggest you to contact Apple Store first to check hardware there
